Studying Arabic Studies at the University of Abuja
The University of Abuja offers Arabic Studies for candidates interested in developing academic knowledge of Arabic and related humanities areas.
UTME Preparation
Candidates should select the subjects required for Arabic Studies and ensure that Arabic is included alongside English Language and the relevant Arts or Social Science subjects.
O'Level Requirement
The general requirement is five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Arabic and three other relevant subjects. Candidates should still examine the University of Abuja conditions before applying.
Direct Entry Requirement
For Direct Entry, the university accepts a minimum of ten points in NCE or ND Upper Credit, in addition to the applicable O'Level requirements.
This means DE candidates should not look only at the higher qualification. Their O'Level requirements also need to be satisfied.

Before Application
- Confirm Arabic Studies as the intended course.
- Prepare the required UTME subjects.
- Check the five O'Level credits.
- DE candidates should confirm the NCE or ND qualification and required grade.
