Choosing the Right JAMB Subjects for Business Administration
Contents
General JAMB UTME Combination
The general JAMB UTME combination for Business Administration is Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and one (1) other relevant subject.
The fourth subject can, depending on the university, be selected from relevant subjects such as Government, Geography, Commerce, Accounting or another accepted Social Science or Management subject.
Do Universities Always Use the Same Combination?
No. Some universities have specific variations. For example, ABU requires Use of English, Economics, Mathematics and any Management or Social Science subject.
Abuja and COOU accept Commerce in lieu of Economics. Other universities also have their own special arrangements, so candidates should check the exact requirement of their chosen institution.
Why Use of English Must Be Included
Use of English should be included when presenting the UTME combination for Business Administration because it is part of the JAMB subject combination used for admission purposes.
Check Before Registering
Do not choose a fourth UTME subject simply because it is accepted by another university. The subject must be one that your preferred institution accepts for Business Administration.
