Contents
University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) is listed for Creative Arts in the JAMB Art/Humanities section. The brochure provides specific conditions for UNN that candidates should keep separate from the general Creative Arts requirements.
O'Level Requirements at UNN
UNN requires five O'Level credit passes to include English Language, Fine and Applied Arts and one Science subject.
For candidates who possess NBC/NTC, the brochure specifies five O'Level credit passes including English Language, Technical Drawing, Painting and Decorating and a Science subject.
UTME Subjects
The general Creative Arts UTME structure requires Fine Arts and two other Arts subjects or Social Science subjects. Candidates should use the exact UNN admission entry when confirming their subject combination.
Direct Entry at UNN
UNN provides several Direct Entry routes. One route requires three GCE A' Level passes in Fine Arts or Technical Drawing together with the UTME requirements.
The brochure also states that HND holders with an average of B grade may be considered with the UTME requirements for entry into 300 level. It further lists ND credit or NCE Merit with the UTME requirements.
Candidates may also be interviewed as part of the institution's admission process.
Keep the UNN Conditions Separate
UNN's requirements contain conditions that are not simply interchangeable with those of other Creative Arts institutions. Candidates should therefore use the UNN-specific entry when checking their qualifications.
