Can You Enter Through Direct Entry?
Yes. Cooperative Economics and Management has a Direct Entry route for candidates with specified advanced qualifications.
General Direct Entry Requirement
The general Direct Entry requirement is:
- Two (2) A' Level passes chosen from Mathematics, Economics and Business Management.
The qualification is subject-specific, so candidates should make sure their A' Level passes are in the subjects accepted for the programme.
UNIZIK Direct Entry
Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has an additional condition for Direct Entry candidates. Candidates must satisfy the UTME requirements in addition to the required A' Level passes.
This is important because having the relevant A' Level subjects alone does not remove the other admission conditions attached to the programme.
Who Should Consider Direct Entry?
Direct Entry is mainly relevant to candidates who already hold an acceptable post-secondary or advanced qualification and want to enter university without following the conventional UTME route into 100 Level. However, possession of a qualification does not automatically guarantee admission. The qualification must be acceptable to the institution and the candidate must meet the stated conditions.
