History and International Studies at the Institutions with Special Direct Entry Remarks

The History and International Studies section contains additional Direct Entry remarks for several named institutions. These should be kept institution-specific rather than merged into the general Direct Entry requirement.

Additional Conditions in the Special Consideration Column

• AAUA: Two A' Level subjects including History or Government, or NCE merits in three subjects including History or Government.
• AJAYI: NCE merit/ND credit in History and Government; it also accepts two A' Level passes or equivalent in History or Government plus three O'Level credit passes.
• AL-HIKMAH: Two A' Level passes including History or Government and another related subject.
• BENIN: Two A' Level passes in GCE or HSC or equivalent in History/Government and another related subject; the continuation also states acceptance of an NCE credit pass in History, Government or Social Studies.
• CALABAR: NCE credit in History/Government/Social Studies; IJMB is not accepted.
• CHRISTOPHER: HND/ND credit or NCE credit in the relevant subjects/programme.
• EBSU: HND/ND Upper Credit or NCE merit in the relevant programme.
• KWASU: Three A' Level passes in relevant subjects.
• LASU: A' Level passes in History/Government, or NCE merit passes in History/Government, Political Science or Social Studies; ND Upper Credit in a related programme is also accepted.
• LASU: Five O'Level credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and History or Government, together with the stated O'Level performance condition.
• MCPHERSON: NCE merit in History/Government/Social Studies; ND Upper Credit in Mass Communication/Journalism, History, Public Administration, Social Works, English & Communication and Linguistics Studies; and JUPEB/IJMB A' Level or equivalent in related subjects.
• PLASU: Degree in any field, HND lower credit, ND lower credit or IJMB seven points in relevant subjects, subject to the stated UTME requirements.
• UNIOSUN: A' Level pass in History or Government; NCE with History major.
• UYO: A' Level passes in two subjects including History or Government; NCE merits in three subjects including History or Government.
• EUI: Two A' Level credit passes in History/Government and another related subject; NCE merit-level passes in relevant subjects; ND/HND credit-level qualification in a related discipline; or very good JUPEB/IJMB passes.
