JAMB UTME Subject Combination for Law
Candidates applying to study Law through JAMB UTME need to select the appropriate subjects during registration.
The general UTME subject combination for Law is:
1. Use of English
2. Any three Arts or Social Science subjects
Use of English is compulsory, while the other three subjects should be selected from the Arts or Social Sciences.
Individual universities may specify particular subjects within the general Arts or Social Science requirement. Candidates should therefore pay attention to the requirements of their preferred university.
For example, some universities require Literature in English together with other relevant Arts or Social Science subjects. Other institutions specify combinations involving subjects such as Government, Economics, History or Religious Studies.
Candidates should confirm the specific UTME requirements of their preferred university before completing their JAMB registration.
