Public Administration focuses on the organisation, management and administration of public institutions and government activities. Candidates seeking admission to study the course at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) must meet the required UTME, O’Level and Direct Entry conditions.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
ABU requires Use of English, Government/History, Economics and any other Management, Arts or Social Science subject.
O’Level Requirements
Candidates must have five O’Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government or History, Economics and any one Management, Arts or Social Science subject.
Direct Entry Requirements
ABU accepts two A’ Level/IJMB passes in Economics and Government/History. The university also accepts an ABU Diploma in Public Administration, Local Government and Development Studies or Office System Management with a minimum of Merit.
