Qualifications accepted for Direct Entry into Cooperative and Rural Development

Qualifications for Direct Entry

Direct Entry is designed for candidates who already have qualifications beyond the secondary school level. For Cooperative and Rural Development, two main qualification routes are available.

Two A' Level Passes

Candidates with two A' Level passes can use this qualification as a general Direct Entry route into the course. The university may have additional conditions concerning the subjects presented.

HND in a Relevant Programme

An HND in relevant programmes is another general route. This is particularly relevant to candidates who have already completed a higher national qualification in a related area.

Does One Qualification Work Everywhere?

Not necessarily. Universities can apply their own conditions to Direct Entry admission. Candidates should therefore confirm the exact requirements of the institution they want to attend before applying.

The O'Level requirement should also be checked alongside the Direct Entry qualification. Meeting the Direct Entry qualification alone does not automatically satisfy every admission condition.
