Schools and Universities Offering Sociology in Art/Humanities in Nigeria

Where Can You Study Sociology in Art/Humanities?
Choosing a school to study Sociology begins with confirming that the institution actually lists the course for admission. In the JAMB admission brochure, Sociology appears as a separate course entry from Sociology and Anthropology.
The schools and universities listed under Sociology are:
- Covenant University (COVENANT)
- Evangel University (EVANGEL)
- Federal University of Kashere (FED-KASHERE)
- Plateau State University (PLASU)
- Salem University (SALEM)
These are the institutions attached specifically to the Sociology entry in the brochure. Candidates considering Sociology in Art/Humanities should use the exact course and institution entry when checking the applicable requirements.
Why the Exact Course Entry Matters
Sociology may appear alongside related programmes in admission materials, but related course names should not automatically be treated as the same programme. For example, the brochure places Sociology and Anthropology under a separate entry from Sociology.
Candidates should therefore check the exact course title selected during JAMB registration and then use the requirements attached to that particular entry.
Before Choosing a School
Beyond confirming that a school offers Sociology, prospective students should examine the institution's specific O'Level conditions, UTME subject requirements and any Direct Entry provisions that may apply to them.
