UMYUK Law Admission: Requirements and JAMB Subjects

Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYUK) has specific requirements for candidates seeking admission into Law. Applicants using UTME and Direct Entry should pay attention to the academic qualifications expected for the programme. JAMB UTME Subject Combination The required combination is: - Use of English - Any three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects O’Level Requirements Candidates should have five O’Level credit passes or equivalents in English Language, Literature in English and any other three Social Science or Arts subjects. There must also be an O’Level credit pass in Mathematics, and the credits should not be obtained from more than two sittings. Direct Entry Requirements UMYUK requires a minimum of 9 points in IJMB, HSC, GCE A Level or NCE in any Arts or Social Science subject. Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit in a Diploma in Law from a recognized College of Legal Studies in Nigeria may also be admitted.
