Contents
The University of Ibadan (IBADAN) is listed among the institutions offering Igbo in the Arts/Humanities section.
General Igbo Requirements
The course requires five SSCE credit passes including Igbo, English Language and another Arts subject. The UTME combination is Igbo and two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
University of Ibadan Direct Entry Consideration
The brochure gives a specific Direct Entry condition for IBADAN. It accepts NCE merit/credit in Igbo and another Arts or Social Sciences subject. It also accepts two A' Level passes to include Yoruba and another Arts or Social Science subject.
This is an important institution-specific condition and should not be generalised to every university offering Igbo.
