French at the University of Lagos
The University of Lagos (LAGOS) is listed for French in the JAMB brochure and has a detailed Direct Entry provision.
The general UTME combination is French and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences. The general O'Level requirement is five SSCE credit passes including French and English Language plus one other Arts subject.
UNILAG Direct Entry Options
The brochure lists very good passes in JUPEB/A' Level subjects: French and any two of Igbo/Yoruba, CRS/IRS, History, Government, Literature-in-English, Music and Fine Arts.
It also lists NCE in French/NFLV and qualifications including Diploma/Diplôme Supérieur (Module III), DALF (France), CEGEP (Canada), Baccalaureate, CAP and BTS.
These are important institution-specific provisions and should not be generalised to every university offering French.
