French at the University of Port Harcourt
The University of Port Harcourt (PHC) is listed for French and has a specific Direct Entry provision.
The general UTME requirement is French and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences, while the general O'Level requirement is five SSCE credit passes including French and English Language plus one other Arts subject.

The brochure accepts two A/Level passes in GCE, HSC, JUPEB or IJMB including French and one other Arts subject, together with the UTME entry requirements.
It also accepts NCE in French and any other Arts subject with an overall merit level pass from a recognised College of Education, together with the UTME entry requirements.
