University of Ibadan Yoruba Admission Requirements: Art/Humanities Guide
Contents
Yoruba at the University of Ibadan
University of Ibadan (IBADAN) is listed among the institutions offering Yoruba under Art/Humanities. Its entry conditions include several institution-specific provisions that candidates should check carefully.
UTME Subjects
The University of Ibadan requires Yoruba and two other subjects in Arts or Social Sciences.
O'Level Requirement
IBADAN requires five O'Level credit passes at one sitting or six O'Level credit passes at two sittings, including English Language and two Arts subjects, one of which must be Yoruba.
Direct Entry
The university accepts two A' Level passes to include Yoruba and another Arts or Social Science subject. It also accepts NCE credit/merit in Yoruba and another Arts or Social Science subject.
What Applicants Should Note
IBADAN's requirements should be read as institution-specific rather than treated as the universal Yoruba requirement. Its O'Level provision, for example, gives a specific sitting arrangement and requires Yoruba as one of the two Arts subjects.
