Yoruba at the University of Lagos
University of Lagos (LAGOS) is listed among the institutions offering Yoruba under Art/Humanities. Its admission conditions contain important institution-specific provisions.
UTME Subjects
LAGOS requires English Language and any three Arts, Science or Social Sciences.
O'Level Requirement
The university requires five O'Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three Arts, Science or Social Sciences. Social Studies and Civic Education are also accepted.
Direct Entry
LAGOS accepts very good passes in three JUPEB/A' Level subjects in Yoruba/Igbo and any two of History, CRS/IRS, French, Government, Music, Visual Arts and Literature in English.
It also accepts NCE (Merit) in two subjects to include a Nigerian Language.
Before Applying
The University of Lagos has requirements that differ from the general Yoruba entry. Candidates should therefore use the LAGOS-specific conditions rather than simply applying the general Yoruba combination or O'Level requirement.
