Contents
Choosing Arabic Studies at Al-Qalam University
Al-Qalam University is included among the institutions offering Arabic Studies. Candidates interested in the course should prepare their qualifications according to the route through which they plan to seek admission.
UTME Route
UTME candidates should include English Language and Arabic in their JAMB subjects, followed by two relevant Arts or Social Science subjects.
O'Level Preparation
Five SSCE credit passes are required for the course. English Language and Arabic are important parts of the requirement, with three other relevant subjects completing the five credits.
Direct Entry Route
DE applicants should concentrate on the higher qualification they are using. The general requirement provides for two A' Level passes in Arabic and another Arts subject.
Avoiding Admission Mistakes
A candidate should not assume that possessing five credits automatically settles every admission question. The individual subjects, the admission route and any institution-specific condition should all be checked.
