Candidates who already possess advanced qualifications may be able to seek admission into Actuarial Science through Direct Entry. The general Direct Entry requirement listed for the programme is two A Level passes, including Economics and Mathematics.
What the General Requirement Says
The two A Level passes must include:

- Mathematics
However, the brochure also contains institution-specific Direct Entry remarks. The University of Lagos, for example, accepts very good passes in three JUPEB/A Level subjects, with Mathematics and any two of Financial Accounting, Geography, Government, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Chemistry or Physics.
The University of Jos is referred to under Direct Entry as having requirements that are the same as its Marketing provisions.
Applicants should therefore check the exact Direct Entry condition attached to their preferred university before submitting an application.
