Direct Entry candidates applying for German should pay attention to the qualification stated for the programme as well as the institution-specific condition provided in the JAMB admission information.
General Direct Entry Requirement
The German entry requires two A' Level passes including the Foreign Language(s), where applicable.
This requirement is specifically different from the UTME subject combination. Candidates applying through Direct Entry should therefore use the qualification requirements for DE rather than treating the UTME subjects as their DE qualification.
University of Lagos Direct Entry Consideration
For University of Lagos (LAGOS), the brochure gives an additional Direct Entry consideration. The university accepts Very good passes in JUPEB/A' Level subjects, with any three selected from French, Igbo/Yoruba, CRS/IRS, History, Government, Literature-in-English, Music and Fine Arts.
What Candidates Should Keep in Mind
The institution-specific condition is important because a qualification accepted by one university should not automatically be assumed to apply to every institution offering German.
