Philosophy at Ambrose Alli University (AAU): Art/Humanities Admission Requirements
Ambrose Alli University (AAU) is the first institution listed under Philosophy in the JAMB course table. The general Philosophy entry gives any two A' Level passes, five SSCE credits including English Language and any three subjects, and any three UTME subjects.
AAU Direct Entry
The special consideration for AAU states that the university accepts three A' Level passes. The continuation of the entry also mentions relevant-subject and O'Level conditions; candidates should therefore check the complete AAU wording in the admission document before applying.
AAU UTME Subjects
For UTME, AAU requires at least one Arts subject. This is an institution-specific variation from the general "any three subjects" entry.
O'Level Condition
AAU requires the general five-credit Philosophy entry and the special consideration also states that AAU requires at least an O'Level pass in Mathematics.
AAU Applicants
The important point is that AAU has variations in all three areas: Direct Entry, UTME subjects and O'Level. Candidates should use the AAU-specific conditions rather than applying the requirements of another Philosophy institution.
