Philosophy UTME Subject Combination in Art/Humanities
Contents
The general UTME subject entry for Philosophy in the JAMB course table is any three subjects. However, the special consideration section provides different subject conditions for several institutions, so candidates should not assume that every university uses exactly the same subject choice.
General UTME Subject Entry
The course table gives Any three (3) subjects as the general UTME subject entry for Philosophy.

The UTME variations are drawn from the special consideration section covering Philosophy. Candidates should use the condition attached to their chosen institution rather than combining requirements from different schools.
Before Selecting Your Subjects
The safest approach is to identify the exact university first and then apply its stated Philosophy subject requirement. For schools without an institution-specific variation in the table, the general entry of any three subjects is the applicable course entry shown in the brochure.
