Business Administration Direct Entry qualifications

There Is More Than One Direct Entry Qualification

A candidate does not necessarily need to start Business Administration through the regular UTME route. Where a university provides Direct Entry admission, candidates with recognised higher qualifications may be considered.

A' Level Qualifications

Some institutions accept A' Level passes in specified subjects. The subjects and number of passes depend on the university.

ND and NCE

National Diploma and Nigeria Certificate in Education holders may be considered where their qualifications are relevant to the course and meet the required grade.

HND

Some universities also accept Higher National Diploma holders. The required grade may be lower credit, upper credit or another level specified by the institution.

IJMB and JUPEB

IJMB and JUPEB can provide Direct Entry routes where the university recognises them for the programme. The required subjects or points must be checked carefully.

Professional Qualifications

Certain universities recognise professional qualifications such as AIB or approved equivalents in relevant programmes.

The Qualification Must Match the University's Rules

Having a qualification does not automatically guarantee Direct Entry admission. Candidates should confirm the accepted programme, grade, subjects and any additional UTME or O'Level conditions.
