Yoruba and Communication Arts UTME Subject Combination in Art/Humanities

JAMB UTME Subjects for Yoruba and Communication Arts
For Yoruba and Communication Arts at Lagos State University, the UTME subjects are Yoruba and any other two subjects.
This means that Yoruba is part of the stated combination, followed by two additional UTME subjects. The course entry does not restrict those two subjects to a particular subject group in the table.
LASU's Special UTME Consideration
There is an important provision attached specifically to LASU. The JAMB admission information states that LASU may accept any other Arts/Social Science subject in lieu of Yoruba.
In practical terms, this is an institution-specific consideration and should not be presented as a general waiver for every institution or for every Yoruba-related programme.
Do Not Confuse the Combination with the O'Level Requirement
The UTME subjects are different from the O'Level subjects required for admission. The Yoruba and Communication Arts entry separately specifies its SSCE requirement, so candidates should check both conditions rather than using one as a substitute for the other.
Before Registering for JAMB
- Confirm that your intended course is Yoruba and Communication Arts.
- Use Yoruba and any other two subjects as the stated UTME combination.
- Note the LASU provision allowing another Arts/Social Science subject in lieu of Yoruba.
- Check the separate O'Level requirement before completing your application.
